About Shout House Dueling Pianos

A sheet of corrugated metal adorned with neon letters and a row of piano keys greets guests entering The Shout House, but what lies within isn’t simply a bar: it’s a battleground. While bartenders pour drinks at rapid speeds—up to 662 shots in two minutes—a pair of performers wage musical war with grand pianos on a mirrored stage. When they’re not pounding out classic rock-‘n’-roll hits from the 1950s to the present, they engage the audience, cracking jokes, taking requests, and explaining the latent causes of Lisztomania. They also work in multiple teams to keep the music going all night long, giving guests plenty of time to sip their drinks and dine on menu items such as burgers and southern comfort food. In addition to these tuneful nightly skirmishes, The Shout House also hosts weekly events such as ‘80s Night, and Birthday Tuesdays.
