About Traveling Tap

Manned by professional drivers, the Minnesota-manufactured pedal-powered Traveling Tap carts up to 16 passengers around Minneapolis and Saint Paul via one of six routes. It's up to guests to supply their favorite beers, wines, or malt beverages which the personal bartender pours into cups or stores in the bar-on-wheels’ built-in coolers. Throw on your ear-flap cap and goulashes for early season rides or let the misting system keep you cool on warm summer days. Traveling Tap also boasts adjustable seats to fit all sizes, seat backs, and a smooth ride even Grandma would enjoy. Listen to tunes from a six-speaker overhead stereo while you take in the sights and sounds of the Twin Cities on each 7-mile-per-hour trek.

We had a great time on Traveling Tap - doing the NE Mpls route. The driver and "bartender" were great! One suggestion: If you have a full crew, rotate 4 seats after each "pit stop". That way everyone gets a rest and everyone gets the enjoyment of working for their reward!

This was the first time we ever did this. It was a blast! We did the two hr. ride but, three hrs. would have been better. You may think that you need to bring alot of alcohol but you drink at the bar's also. We will be doing this again for sure!

Get your group there early so you can start on time. Traveling tap did a great job. If you want to spend more time at stops, consider a 3 hour trip.

Ask for Marky Mark! He was awesome. The seats are adjustable so short people like me (I'm 4'11") can ride. We went downtown for Sunday Funday and had a blast! We're definitely going again before the summer is over.
