Mocha Magic has served up locally roasted coffee and homemade café fare in a sun-bathed modern space since 1994. Behind the café counter, sandwich makers layer sourdough and croissant with honey baked ham, smoked turkey, and fresh produce accompaniments. At breakfast, patrons can jumpstart the day with freshly baked scones and muffins, but are discouraged from jumpstarting a car by pouring espresso drinks directly into the gas tank.

Mocha Magic's sadwiches are "home made" and make you feel like Mom just made you lunch! The potato and macaroni salads also have the flavor of home...coffee also made to order. I really like this place!

Maybe some handouts at the front of the bank would get more traffic. A sweet older lady is hard to ignore or be rude to . . . someone in a rush might appreciate a "slow Down Invitation."

They have such delicious sandwiches and soups. I'm so happy that Modesto has little gems, like Mocha Magic, "stand alone" cafes that have personality. You can tell that the staff cares about serving good food and great coffee.
