Help reduce the noise outside the massage rooms

I was taken aback when I a male massage therapist asked me to come with him - I hadn't been asked ahead of time if this was ok. And it wasn't (for me). There was an awkward moment when I had to tell him no. Fortunately my friend who was with me was ok with switching. Also, the scrubs were done at the very end, which completely ruined the enjoyment of the massage. The worst was I was asked to sit up to do the backscrub, just as I was finally relaxed. And, instead of being able to lie back, I couldn't because I was sitting on a pile of sugar left over from the back scrub. In the future, do the scrubs FIRST so it doesn't interfere with the overall experience.
