In lieu of mainstream Hollywood movies, the Capri Community Film Society screens an eclectic mix of contemporary independent and foreign films at its movie house, The Capri Theatre. In addition to the latest releases, the society also finds time to project repertory classics such as Vertigo and The African Queen back on the big screen. Besides indie and old-school cinema, the 1941-built theatre invites children to animated summer matinees and occasionally hosts directors for Q&As following their movies.

I always find good parking Nice folks running the Capri so I go often, and enjoy the wide variety of films Arrive early or stay late to enjoy the movie then the nightlife nearby, with great restaurants and music and bar to enjoy

Plenty of parking! They sell beer and wine to enjoy with the movie. Nice theater! Plenty of places nearby to drink or eat at. Good experience!

Plenty of parking, and several interesting spots very nearby to enjoy before and after the movie. I have been to this theatre at least 5 times, and will continue to enjoy their great classic and film festival movie selections. It is so much more enjoyable here than the big movie houses. I have told friends about the movie 2 for 1 special as well

Seats are low but will be replaced with the redecoration. I love the indies and appreciate the wide range of films.
