The check engine light was NOT on when I took it in for my oil change. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, it came on. I called back to ask them why and they said it was on when he moved it to the service area. I asked him why he did not tell me, because he did mention an oil leak I knew I had! I took the cap off and then back on (after taking to Advanced Auto Parts) and then after a few days the light went off.
