About New Orleans Comic Expo

New Orleans Comic Expo summons pop-culture enthusiasts from the city, the South, and beyond to meet celebrities, play games, compete in costume contests, and celebrate what they love most. From booths filled with comic-book artists and writers to collectibles vendors to horror and sci-fi authors, the convention has areas dedicated to all manner of genres. While anime fans eye one another's cosplay outfits and gamers take on the latest releases, other fans line up for celebrity appearances. Previous editions of the expo have featured actors Adam Baldwin and Jewel Staite of Firefly, 90210's Luke Perry, Kevin Sorbo of Hercules, and the Seventh Doctor, Sylvester McCoy.

Bring cash and a camera. Wear comfortable shoes. Most of all check out the free movies in the smaller conferance rooms!

The Expo was not up to par...movie preview rooms where not all working, not all movie where playing, and on Expo employee where in the rooms to replay the movies. within the Expo main room, it was less then a hand full of booths. For the money it was not worth going, but my 11yr old son loved it so I was happy. I have been to other Comic Expo's where we had a much better time. hope next years is better...but we don't know if we will go.

Falsely advertised to be a lot bigger than it truly was. Took us 30 minutes to see everything. Definitely would not need to return the whole weekend.
