As someone who loves the experience of preparing and eating food, I found this museum to be really interesting and engaging. Something I thought I was really cool about the experience was that I could order food and drinks at this old bar inside the museum, and I could eat and drink as I looked at the displays. I would definitely go back to the museum again!

Such a fun experience. Our host spent time explaining the history and layout of the museum as well as answering our questions. Plus you can walk around with a glass of wine in hand so you feel fancy!

Fun place if your expectations aren't too high. They're still putting it together. Be aware that it's not open on Tuesday! Nothing thrilling, but, some fun facts along the way. Note: across the street is the New Orleans Jazz market which features NO jazz band with Irwin Mayfield. He plays there on occasion. Check it out!
