About Jell-O Flowers & Creative Desserts

Laura Sanchez, the artist behind Jell-O Flowers & Creative Desserts, fashions gelatin, food coloring, and flavor essences into three-dimensional flowers that are 100% edible. She never uses a premade mold, opting instead to carve each realistic-looking petal by hand. Available in a selection of fruit flavors and in colors ranging from pale pink to electric blue, the flowers are displayed in individual plastic containers—suitable for party favors—or vessels such as margarita glasses or still-occupied fishbowls. Sanchez also makes dipped strawberries, cake-size gelatin desserts, and confections gelled into shapes such as Mickey Mouse.
