My husband is from South Africa and keeps telling me about 'meat pies'. I was excited when I saw this Australian place had them. We tried them and he said it reminded him of home. My 3 year old (fairly picky) daughter said she loved the Sausage Roll. We will definitely be going back to try the Paninis and the drinks. What a neat place!

Owners are very friendly and personable. The food has been consistently good and the customers that come in seem to have been there before (from listening to the conversations).
I hope this business is very successful.

The pumpkin pie chia was great! Chickenpot pie was good but had to ne warmed up.

The "Road Kill" coffee drink and the sausage roll were both very good. I really expected food and coffee to be comparable to downtown Springfield coffee shops, but I think what I got at Walkabout was better. I'm also impressed that the owner grinds the pork, chicken, and vegetables and makes the sausage herself

Great atmosphere to relax with a good book or play one of their many board games. The food and drinks are excellent! I would definetly recommend Walkabout Coffe shop to my friends and family.
