Owners and staff were great.

We had eaten at Back Roads a few times prior to this occasion and had great food and service . On this visit we had poor service. The food was not good; we actually had another Goupon voucher that I would rather throw away than have to return to Back Roads. Specifics: The bartender had to come in and wait on us (we didn't really have a waitress), the salad bar was empty (I did hear the waitress tell another customer that they were getting more soup but didn't see it), reheated frozen shrimp with a lot of breading and a steak that had an odd taste (I was told long ago when I was a waitress that if it was a good steak it didn't need sauce....could of used steak sauce if it were offered).

The food was of poor quality. Your chef was rude and unable to cook. Overall it was a very bad experience and we will not be back.

I would recomend a new cook and more wait staff. Service was very slow and the place was lacking cleanliness. The table next to us had the very same experience and this was the first time to the establishment as well.
