About Potomac Horse Center

Potomac Horse Center may enjoy a tranquil spot among 60 acres, but that doesn't mean there's an abundance of quiet moments on the farm. Throughout the year, the center's calendar is chock-full of equestrian activities, including lessons for students ranging from "Mini Mites" (5–8 years old) to adults, plus around 12 show competitions scheduled every year. Novices hoping to make the leap onto the show circuit can enroll in lessons for classical Dressage, Combined Training, and Hunter/Jumper. Birthday parties, summer camps, trail riding classes through wooded parklands, and therapeutic horseback-riding sessions round out the busy calendar, but thankfully, true solitude is never further than a trail ride deep into the adjacent Muddy Branch Stream Valley Park.
