In Joanne Carovillano's 20-year hairstyling career, she's only taken a break once: she left the salon she owned for 15 years to work in insurance. Luckily, absence made the heart grow fonder, and she realized that hair was her true passion. She left the office, opened a new salon, and the rest is history. At Park Avenue Haircutters, she leverages her experience with all hair types to bring out the best in her clients. Joanne and her staff reinvent women's looks with cuts, coloring, highlights, and perms. They also gussy up male clients with beard trims and grey blending, and children are welcome to plop down in a styling chair as well for a trim or to turn their hair grey for upcoming adult-disguise hijinks.
