We've eaten several times through the years at Jack Gibbons, said to be the old Mayor Daley's favorite restaurant. It is like walking through a time machine and passing into a 1950's restaurant, low lighting, red banquets seating, waitress there for 30 yrs, long bar where everyone knows your name..Who still gives you relish trays? Excellent blue chees dressing for your salad, double backed potatoes and to die for steaks..

The menu is very limited, your steak prices are very expensive. I had one major problem, the hash brown potatoes were really terrible. The waitress did get me a baked potato instead. My husband loved the ribs.
