A wonderful and eclectic collection that has something of interest for everyone, whether overall mountain life, musical instruments, tools, etc. Great baked goods - make sure to stop for lunch or dessert.

The museum is really about Tennessee history. More items than you can imagine. Contains things that made life work. Art and craftsmanship abound throughout the property. Spend 2 hrs or half a day depending on your interest level. Great for Tennesseans and others who have an interest in what made this country function.
