About Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs

The historic Milton Theatre takes live entertainment to the next level, allowing guests to bid farewell to the routine weekend of movie watching or crime show binging. Instead, attendees at the Milton Theater enjoy productions that run the gamut from live theater to interactive comedy shows—with over 300 productions a year, there's more than enough fun for date nights, family gatherings, and trips out with friends near popular beach towns like Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Dewey Beach.

And the theater doesn't stop at showcasing talent—they also help young performers sharpen their skills. With a comprehensive children's program, Milton Theatre aims to unleash a bevy of talented youth performers upon the community. Students immerse themselves in creative studies in their musical theatre classes and summer camps, learning new skills that they’ll later show off during the center's 20-30 annual performances or in front of a rapt audience of stuffed animals in their living room.

The description and the actual event were not the same. Also the picture used to promote the tea was very festive looking and I had expectations of seeing something like that. I thought they could have been a little more decorative at the tables with Easter napkins and plastic tablecloths. Choices of beverages even though it said tea and water could have included lemonade or apple juice especially since this was geared to young children. The selling of an upgraded bunny cup verses a paper cup as soon as you walk in I did not like. On a positive note, the girls in the skit all had beautiful voices and I enjoyed their singing. They did engage the audience in cute little dances. My granddaughter liked when they did the Cha Cha Slide. I was impressed on all the things the theater offers to the children in the area. If I lived closer, what great opportunities available. Though it did not cost a lot of money, I drove over an hour to do this based on the description.

The add did not paint an accurate picture of the event.

This was a completely misleading picture & description. The theatre was dingy, show embarrassingly poor, tea cold in styrofoam no additives, Christmas cookies broken into pieces and served in tiny paper cups. An hour we will never get back.

This merchant marked the wrong site to sell tickets. They turned me and my children away and promised a phone call from a manager for the next show. They never called me after 4 messages! And the woman I spoke with said "were too busy to talk"

this is ONLY good for kids who are excited to leave the house! the snacks were in bathroom dixie cups and the drinks not much bigger. "tea" was cold water with a drop of tea added. the show was weird and ended unfinished. I assume this is a kids theater...kids run it...and the kids that run it don't seem interested in it or something. I don't know....seems like even with all the bad stuff going for them if they had the heart to do it...it wouldn't be so bad!
