About Master Lu Acupuncture

Master Lu has honed his understanding of energy imbalances in the course of more than 40 years' worth of Chinese acupuncture and martial-arts practice. His finely tuned needlework, which garnered him a spot on City Weekly's Best of Utah 2010 list, can be effectively employed to quell a variety of chronic problems, from headaches to addictive behaviors. Treatments can also help to alleviate insomnia or the depression that so often stems from painting watercolor self-portraits using only your tears.

I just had an ultrasound to check on my cyst and it was gone. Thank you so much for your help. I wanted more people to know what a great work you are doing, so I went ahead and wrote a review about your service online.

I liked the way his son took time to find out my specific problem.

Bedside manner was terrible. Did not feel well cared for. My head bled from the acupuncture which I was not informed of could happen. I've had acupuncture many times before & never had any bleeding. I can send you the pic if you want. I found the bleeding alarming.

Did not do any intake discussion or exam. The treatment area is liked cattle stalls. You hear every other conversation, discussion, moaning from other patients. Music is very loud. Not relaxing atmosphere at all. Dirty used needles and junk on floor!!! Very unfriendly place.

Master Lu was rude and impatient. Within 2 minutes of me hitting his door, he was sticking needles in my face. Did not take a medical history, explain anything, or even take my pulse as my previous practitioner had. I don't think he gave me the full treatment - was only there for 15 min and my previous treatments (at a different place) had been closer to an hour. The 2nd visit, he didn't remember who I was and since he put the needles in different spots, I don't think he treated me for the right problem. I wouldn't have any way of knowing and his manner didn't encourage questions. Pushed me to buy some weight loss tea and join his Tai Chi class, even though I wasn't there for weight loss. Very unpleasant experience, although I did see some benefits from the 1st and 3rd treatments, when I was treated for the correct issue. I will continue the treatments elsewhere.

His individual visits are $60 - too expensive. Other local places are less expensive and give better service. Check QIworks. qiworkscommunityacupuncture.com 801-364-9272

Dont try to talk people into your Tai Chi classes until you know that you can help someone with accupunture! 3 treatments did absolutely nothing because they did not know the cause of the back pain in the first place.
