My wife and I rented a tandem kayak for two hours for $19. What a great value! The views in and around the Essex coves were fantastic...stately waterfront homes, beautiful yachts, and miles of lovely estuaries teeming with wildlife (including bald eagles). The kayak rental also gets you into the CT River Museum. We didn't know what to expect here, and were very pleasantly surprised. The exhibits were very well done and very interesting. We spent about 1.5 hours in the museum before my wife dragged me out (I'm the one who likes to read EVERYTHING). Very nice job CT River Museum. I'm telling all my friends about you.
