I enjoyed the course, obviously it’s winter golf so some soggy conditions are to be expected but everyone inside was awesome. Unfortunately they have sold so we’ll see how the new ownership group runs things.

This was a gift. The couple enjoyed it tremendously !

We played Plumas Golf Club on Tuesday 12/16/2020, two days after a heavy rain. Here are my impression. 1. Services: The staff at the pro shop is courteous and fast. We checked in and got our cart in 10 minutes. 2. Fairway: It is surprisingly dry after a big rain storm. There were very few wet spots on the fairway. The fairway can be better maintained as there were a few bare spots. 3. Greens: they are in very good shape. The greens are fast, true, and challenging. 4. Pace of play: we finished our round in 4 hours. 5. Course layout: The course is flat and walkable. There are many oak trees. The challenges are in many creeks cutting across the course, many doglegged holes, and some narrow fairways. I find the layouts to be enjoyable. You need to play more than once to be familiar with the course's challenges. In summary, I find the Plumas Golf course to be challenging, but enjoyable. I will definitely come back to play.
