About Arrow Stage Lines

Carl Busskohl began his career as a mail carrier in 1928, but soon he found he had passengers other than parcels. When folks increasingly asked to ride along on his route between Norfolk and Sioux City, Carl saw another opportunity: he traded his 7-passenger Buick in for a 25-passenger bus, making it the first vehicle of the Arrow Stage Lines fleet. After more than 80 years, Carl's enterprise has grown to include more than 160 luxury motorcoaches—all equipped with air conditioning, reclining seats, and spacious restrooms—that ferry groups, athletic teams, and big-window fan clubs to new destinations or on local and long-distance tours.

The bus driver and the guide were GREAT! Its too bad I don't remember the driver's name, but the host was Lucy I think. We rode the first bus on December 21. We may do it again next year. THANK-YOU for a great experience.

Our bus driver on the holiday light tour was to follow to other bus. Both buses encountered problems navigating narrow streets on which cars had parked on both sides, likely for a holiday party in a residential area. We lost the other bus. The driver not only found his way out , he included the passengers in help guide him on the remainder of the tour. His attitude infused the group with holiday conviviality. He is to be commended for his competence, grace under fire and completing his assigned task with aplomb.

The host was genial, and the driver was MAGNIFICENT! He put that bus in places I couldn't even have got my little Equinox.

The tour was good except that the bus had a little accident and sideswiped a parked vehicle and we had to sit for about 45 minutes and wait. Was hoping that we would get a voucher or a refund or something. It certainly put a damper on the evening.

They wasted at least 45 minutes of this 2 hr tour taking us downtown. All we saw for the first hour was interstate. There are no xmas lights downtown besides gene leahy mall. I wish they would have shown us more lights in neighborhoods.
