The Claussen-Leahy Maverick Run hosts a range of race events that cater to everyone in different levels of competition. The 5K run will travel from Baxter Arena through Aksarben Village with 10K continuing up to UNO Campus and return back to Baxter Arena. Walkers will take to the Keystone Trail heading south to Karen Park. Other events include a free run for kids in the 800-meter Kids' Race with interactive activities inside Baxter Arena for kids ages 5-12 years.

Run EXTREMELY well. So much bang for your buck, too. Other than the Democratic mtg during packet pickup on Thurs, we had an amazing time and were extremely impressed. Will recommend.

Very organized, loved the kids run and the distance of it, the vendors were super great, the inflatables were fun but a little over crowded with big kids trampling the little kids. Wish I would have know that jimmy John's were available for all runners. I did see the first 2 5k runners very confused on where to go and where the turn around was so I'm sure they were upset about that. There should have been someone on the corner telling them where to go and not sit at the turn around spot. Great amount of water stations. The route was great! Our whole family had a wonderful time!

Prep for a curvy but relatively flat course. Not all the vendors appear to be set up before the race for some reason, but those that are there are friendly.

Make sure you register by online deadline that email provides. Much less of a hassle!
