About Art of Massage

At Art of Massage, Trenton Mellen conveys centuries of history through his hands. His own career is 15 years strong, but the massage modalities and Eastern medical treatments he pulls from go back millennia. Performed in the private, low-lit rooms of his honey-colored studio, Trenton's oldest therapies include cupping, acupressure, and gua sha, which uses an intensive scraping motion. Other holistic treatments include shiatsu massage and tui na massage, which some say is shiatsu's direct ancestor. Of course, Trenton also draws from newer therapies, too, which he sometimes combines for an amplified effect. These include deep Swedish, deep-tissue, and sports massage, as well as body scrubs designed to soothe and exfoliate.
