The floor-to-ceiling windows that make Radiance Sun Studios’ storefront may technically be letting sun in, but the shop’s bright-yellow walls seem to flood the outdoors with rays. Inside, more effective faux rays radiate from Wolff- and Ruva-level tanning beds in standup and lie-down varieties. Their MagicTan spray-tanning booth imparts all-over UV-free color with mist from automated nozzles. The staff also curates an extensive collection of tanning lotions from Hempz, Australian Gold, and California Tan, which extend a tan’s wear, enhance its color, or help it blend more easily into a Where’s Waldo? set at the beach.
