We went on a Friday afternoon in January. If you don't like crowded lanes this is the ideal time to go. We could spread out and enjoy an afternoon of bowling.

We went to Scores at about 11:30am on a Sunday, got a lane right away. As we were near the end of our 2nd game is when it started to get really crowded so we got there at the perfect time.
