Brian Nelli loved fishing too much to let the Chicago winters get in the way. By the time he was in high school, he was already too busy flying back and forth from his hometown to Florida for regular snook and tarpon fishing trips to worry about typical teenage things, such as what color tuxedo T-shirt he should wear to prom. After graduating college, he permanently relocated to his favorite fishing grounds, where he made a name for himself by claiming first-place finishes in tournaments thrown by the likes of the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour and by leading kids’ fishing clinics.

With Pushin’ Water Kayak Charters, Brian outfits anglers of all experience levels with fully rigged kayaks for guided trips on inshore, nearshore, and offshore waters along Treasure Coast and Palm Beach. From these one-man vessels, he leads fishers in landing catches such as feisty redfish, snapper, and grouper as well as tarpon. In addition to guided kayak fishing trips, Brian takes guests out on eco tours, bringing them up close to wildlife that ranges from manatees to mangroves.
