Bay Area Bike Share is a quick, convenient, and affordable way to travel around the Bay Area. With a current stock of 700 bikes at 70 stations, it allows you to easily get from point A to point B. And those are just Bay Area Bike Share's current statistics. The best part? The system will soon be expanding tenfold, growing into one of the largest and densest bike share systems in North America. Under the expansion bike share will increase dramatically in San Francisco and San Jose, rolling out for the first time in the East Bay, including Berkeley, Oakland, and Emeryville.

Bay Area Bike Share is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Purchasing a 24-hour pass or an Annual Membership lets you unlock any bike at any Bay Area Bike Share station. You can use bike share to connect from Caltrain to work, ride down the Embarcadero, or go on an adventure with friends. If your trip lasts less than 30 minutes you won't pay anything extra, and for longer jaunts you can pay an overtime fee or just re-dock your bike at any station and take out another one. And because stations have twice as many docking spots as bikes, you should never have trouble finding a space.
