"Good food. Good times." That's the motto at Trio, and it's one the restaurant tries living up to every day. The good food part is just about what you'd expect from any American sports bar worth its salt: a massive selection of crowd-pleasing pub grub, including baby-back ribs, 15 styles of chicken wings, cheesy pizzas, and burgers loaded with everything from mozzarella sticks to fried bacon. Of course, any of these dishes can be supplemented with a beer or two. And taste buds won't get tired because there are more than 50 beers on the drink list, ranging from staples like Guinness to craft brews from Lagunitas, Bell's, and Magic Hat.
And then there's the good times. The space is filled with TVs as far as the eye can see, and each one is set to broadcast every game the Blackhawks, Cubs, White Sox, and Bulls play. But football is the real champ here, so every Bears and Notre Dame game is celebrated with a free buffet at halftime. In addition to all the sports, Trio also entertains its guests with a variety of events, ranging from live music and holiday parties to bingo and paint nights.
