About The Santa Experience

The Santa Experience was started by a mother of 8 kids who wanted something more from the typical trip to see Santa at the mall. Why slog through a line with hyper tots and a waning cell phone battery when that time waiting could be spent doing that's fun and constructive? At The Santa Experience, kids waiting for the big guy spend their time at fun stations. They can get help from their parents in writing a letter, for example. They can also write out a wish list or shop for little inexpensive toys at Kringle's Kids Store. Once it's time for the face-to-face with Santa, a photographer takes photo and video, handing off all shots to the parents on an SD card, for them to print and post as desired.

Nice family owned company. Great concept, similar to what I was able to do as a kid. The "gift shop" is lacking though. More like dollar store items. I would give my child more money to shop if they bought decent items to sell. Luckily she didn't know of what the 80's santa experiences were like, but to me it was definitely lacking. HOWEVER, the family was extremely friendly and caring so for a child, it was an amazing experience. Nice to get all the photos from the photographer rather than just one at all the other santa places.

They even have Mrs. Claus. The kiddos got to 'feed' Rudolph ;) Santa is really good with the kids. Overall, a great experience! Would definitely recommend.

The "experience" was a storefront with cheesy decorations with family members portraying elves, Mrs. Claus, and Santa. The children playing the "elves" were just that Children. I think labor laws apply and the Labor board would be interested in this practice. The Santa "store" were all items from the Dollar Tree, marked up to $2.00 each. The SD card I was supposed to receive with my pictures/video, was not received as they "ran out of SD cards and the promotion changed". The pictures and video was supposed to be emailed, but as of 12/26/2014, was never received. The voicemail for the Santa Experience is full and the website says it's closed. This was nothing more than theft!

We too were excited that this place as advertised would be diff. Got there just before 4, the little clock said will return at 4. They saw us outside and said they would be open in 5-10 min. At 4:20 they finally opened the door. No wait since we were the first to arrive so one positive. It's really dark inside and seems more drab than festive. The "reindeer" area was too young for my kids, they could see the child "elf" moving the reindeers horns. The area to write a Christmas list is ok. The "store" area has very few cheap items, not at all very well stocked. Santa was not I as thought from the video on the website and his fake beard not on straight. My kids told him what they wanted and he repeated the incorrect item of what they said. I was told I would receive my pictures in 24 hours. I emailed the next day, 24 hrs later, when I had not received them but didn't receive a response. I called the next morning and was told some pics had to be resent. I asked that my email be confirmed and was told I would be called back in 10 min. About 3 hours later I had to call back and ask again that my email be confirmed. At that time I was told the pics would be sent right way, once again about 3 hours later I finally received the pictures but not the video so I emailed again. I finally received the video, poor quality sound. I appreciate the fact of trying to make a diff more quality experience but needs major improvements. Very disappointed in the whole experience....

It was cute and the idea was great, but I just think by next year, when my daughter is 5, she's going to have a LOT of questions. It's a great place to get good photos though, especially of littler ones.
