About Betty's Place

Chef Betty spends every day sharing her culture with people from across the city. She remembers going to the marketplace with her mom as a young child, gathering ingredients for their authentic Haitian dinners back home. Those spicy and pungent tastes stayed with her as she grew up, and now she cooks them into flavorful meals in her restaurant, Betty's Place. Her menu blends tropical cuisine including stewed conch, fried pork and turkey, and conch fritters with classic American dishes including filet mignon and angus burgers. To give your taste buds their own Caribbean vacation, try the jerk chicken and oxtail or a Creole red snapper, then find a palm tree to plop down under while you wait for those taste buds to return from their tropical paradise.
