My husband took our son-in-law & our two grandsons ages eight & six. They love sitting in the cockpits. Husband is a former fighter pilot (F4D). He heads to Grissom with grandkids often.

Nice people. Neat displays, and it's great that it has outdoor exhibits so it feels more like a park.

Not a huge museum and no elaborate displays, but actual planes to see and touch and a few to climb in. Great family fun!

Very friendly employee and inside the museum it is really cool that the kids (and adults) get to explore some of the aircraft and simulators! So many aircraft outside to look at and learn about, plus you have the air tower to go up in! Spent a great morning learning and making memories with my son and my father who served our country as a proud Marine in the Vietnam war.

Our 3 yr old grandson loved being able to sit in a couple of the planes and flip the switches. And interesting artifacts to see and read about. Maybe not good for a rainy day since most aircraft are outside.

Do much history and seeing the planes up close was amazing.

I live about 2 hours away and this was a nice little day trip for me and my boys (8,11) super cheap and if they like planes and helicopters you can't lose. If you're hungry afterwards I suggest the Dutch Cafe just down the road. Home style food that finished off the day perfectly.
