About RiverLink Ferry

Just south of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the Delaware River bustles with activity. On its western shore lies Philadelphia's waterfront, with destinations such as Penn's Landing. To the east is Camden, which holds its own against the Pennsylvania capital with attractions such as Adventure Aquarium, where Aquaman moonlights as a jellyfish. But perhaps the area's biggest draw is the meeting place between these two locales: the Delaware River itself.

RiverLink Ferry's two-story sightseeing vessel, the M/V Freedom, traverses these waters for sightseeing tours of the waterfront's architecture or fall foliage. The ferry serves a practical purpose as well; it regularly travels point-to-point between Philadelphia and Camden, so commuters can move between the two cities with ease.

Beautiful day out on the Delaware. The narrator gave lots of interesting facts and information on this tour. I learned a lot. Great boat ride!

It was a very nice trip on the Delaware between the Benjamin Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges with narrative of all the sights viewed on both sides of the river. Boarded on New Jersey side at Wiggins Park and picked up additional passengers on the Philadelphia side at Penns Landing. Gives nice views of the Battleship New Jersey and the SS United States. Very pleasant evening breeze on the river to watch the fireworks, good food, soft drinks, snacks and desserts. Very nice and friendly crew. Would highly recommend to others.

It was a great night. The only disappointment I experienced was that the guide said the pilot would hold position so the fireworks could be seen from one side of the boat, but he kept turning the boat, and people were rushing port-to-bow-to-starboard-to-stern throughout the display (many were being rude about it, too). We stayed in our spot at the bow railing and were able to see most (but not all) of the fireworks display without rushing around, though we had to deal with some people trying to push their way into our spots.

I've used the ferry to go to the aquarium before but nothing like this. This trip was wonderful and we look forward to doing it again when offered. The food was great and the staff were fun and personable. Thank you for a nice 4th of July!!!!!

The "interpretive tour" was provided by speakers on the boat and i couldnt hear a thing. Had to move and stand next to bathrooms to be closer to speakers, so i couldnt enjoy the view while listening to the guide. Still, the guide was difficult to hear and didnt provide much info. I wouldve preferred a live guide or better speakers

Too expensive, the food was OK but not for the money and the fireworks were better seen from the waterfront.

55.00 was a lot for what was offered. If I had payed full price at 110.00 I would have been extremely disappointed. For that price the food and beverages that were offered could have been better. If it is going to stay the same the value is probably worth about 30.00 instead.
