About The Crefeld Glass Studio

Like the quadruple-digit fire inside The Crefeld Glass Studio's furnace, the instructors' enthusiasm for glassworking helps budding artists create things they could not have attempted on their own. Classes are kept at four to ten students so that everyone gets a clear view of classmates as they work the furnace, and during the day, the studio is a part of The Crefeld School's art program.

The introductory flameworking class was excellent. Small groups, individual attention if needed, lots of space given for students to experiment and be creative. Our instructor was Connor and he was very patient and helpful. I highly recommend The Crefeld Glass Studio.

Great experience! The staff give you as much or little support as needed. The instructors make sure you are safe and provide excellent instruction! Definitely recommend!!!

I enjoyed the course was able to make a glass cup and crystal ball fixture. The only thing I would have done is chose to do the class in the winter it was extremely hot!

Great time trying out a new hands-on art skill for some total non-artistic beginners. Went home with some samples of our work and a newfound understanding and appreciation for flameworking. Class size was just right.
