Just as the Roman god Bacchus represented both wine and revelry together, Pinot Boutique celebrates wine by—how else?—throwing parties. The staff regularly stages wine-tasting events and hosts events amid the exposed-brick walls in its lower level wine lounge. Upstairs, the shop’s main floor is dedicated for wine tastings and fostering at-home celebrations, twice earning a "Best of Philly" commendation, including the title Best Gift Shop of 2012 from Philadelphia Magazine. This is a great little shop with a really fun atmosphere. The class we had last night was really for super beginners, but its local wines and really laid back. loved it!

Dave was very personable and knowledgable. We liked that all the wines were local wines. We were only going to bring home 1-2 bottles but ended up liking more so bought 6, with 3 more on our list! Great value and a nice way to spend the afternoon We will likely go back for another class soon. My boyfriend is really interested in the beer class in July.
