Through their shop and sustainable vertical-landscaping services, Urban Jungle aims to cultivate green space wherever possible throughout Philadelphia's brick-and-concrete ecosystem. Indoor plants, air plants, containers, and pockets that hang from vertical-gardening structures cater to apartment dwellers without a yard of their own to mow. Those lucky enough to have a rooftop or an open green space can personalize their landscapes with outdoor plants, recycled-metal sculptures, and stone fountains. Their gardening gurus also lead workshops throughout the year on topics such as making terrariums, vertical gardening, arranging floral centerpieces, or reinforcing beanstalks in hopes of reaching the Cloud Kingdom.

I enjoyed the personalized service by knowledgeable and friendly staff and the incredible inventory of high quality plants and materials. This jungle is a city gardener s oasis!!

Great place & much larger than I had expected. I was interested in finding vertical growing systems as I am a city dweller.

They are terrific! There is one female staff member, in particular, who is super nice and knowledgable. She went out of her way to try to find a very specific plant for me. When they didn't have that one, she took her time to help me select some alternate choices. They have what you need for a city garden. And if they don't have it, they'll try to get it for you. Highly recommend them.

The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable, and also really grateful for our business. The shop is set up in a really interesting and inspirational way. The way some of the plants were displayed gave us great ideas of how to display our new plants at home. I will definitely go back to Urban Jungle and recommend it to friends.
