This is a wonderful, small community friendly theatre that shows first run and art house movies as well as live performances and houses art shows by local artists on their walls.

I wish there were movies offered earlier on Sat. I have a sick husband and I have home care 8 am - 4 pm Mon - Fri.,, & Sat. & Sun 8 am - 2 pm. I love this theater and the movies they offer, but I'm unable to attend now. Sunday mornings I am in church. ,

The theater was very empty and , as a result , the movie was too loud . It was loud to the point that some dialog was indiscernible . Apart from that we have always enjoyed the theater .

Really enjoyed our first visit. Only problem was volume for "The Dark Knight Rising" was so loud it actually detracted from enjoying the movie. Otherwise, liked the place and plan to return. Hope to see "To Kill A Mockingbird" there next month.

It's the only theater in the STBGS that we go to.

Their soda selection is awful. Switch to Coke products and have at least one drinkable caffeine free diet soda (NOT Mist). But even the people who work the snack counter are very nice. (In the summer, Fresca is a great soft drink. You could pour a can over an inch of good orange juice and call it a Pocono Citrus Cooler and make lots of money. Or you could pour cranberry juice over an inch of orange juice, call it a Cranberry Cooler, and sell out. Add a plash of ginger ale and call it a "Pocono Punch." )

Pocono Community Theater is a true asset to the community. The movies shown there appeal to a wide range of adult tastes. The art space creates great visual appeal in addition to showcasing local artists. The cafe has top-notch goodies to eat before, during, or after a show.
