About The Painters Lounge

Don't let the name fool you—The Painters Lounge is for people of all artistic tastes, even if those tastes are non-existent. That's because the artists on staff lead students step-by-step through each painting project during relaxed sessions held in a social atmosphere, teaching them techniques such as shading and composition. As they paint students relax, have a drink, and meet new friends. By the end of the sessions, students learn to replicate paintings that may include Halloween pumpkins, a tree at dusk, or a pair of birds discussing whether the phrase "for the birds" is derogatory or not. In addition to scheduled events, students can stop by for open lounge time to work on their newfound skills.
