What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?At Twelve Cakes Bakery everything is made from scratch. Hand scraped vanilla beans, pure butter frostings, and fluffy flavorful cake layers. We specialize in vintage and modern design and have twelve signature cakes that can be ordered in as little as three days. If you don’t know exactly what you want, we have design services available. The walk in selection is always fresh and different every day, so be sure to check back often!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?With a background in fine art and a passion for baking quality, high end desserts, I fell into cake decorating on accident when a friend asked me to help with her wedding cakes. I designed and created twelve cake “centerpieces”, which were a big hit. These designs became my 12 Signature Cakes, and are still sold on a daily basis at the bakery.

What do you love most about your job?I truly believe that cake IS art, and my favorite part is watching someone enjoy the art that I’ve created. Pictures of kids blowing out candles or newlyweds cutting the cake are my favorites to receive from clients!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?Repeat business is always the biggest compliment. I have clients that have been with me since the day I delivered those first 12 cakes.
