The tour guides were very informative--my boyfriend and I learned so much and greatly enjoyed it. The property itself is beautifully maintained, from the grounds with installation art work to the various rooms you can tour through. Highly recommend!

First off: your ticket is good for a week!. So go there early in your vacation and visit several times. The grounds and home were wonderful. Elric's tour of the home was informative and very entertaining. We spent the afternoon independently going thru all the many second floor exhibits and the extensive gardens. We ate the picnic lunch we had brought on the grounds. They do have a nice cafe on the porch which you can get a bite or a drink or ice cream.
