About Kristina E. Mozzicato, LMT

Inside Abundant Health Massage Therapy & Wellness, Kristina Mozzicato is a modern-day Renaissance woman. In addition to earning two bachelor's degrees from the College of the Holy Cross in Italian studies and music, she baked and souffléd her way to a culinary-arts certificate from the Connecticut Culinary Institute. So it wasn't too much of a stretch for her to add a degree from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, a massage license, a national certification, and a Reiki-master certification to her list of credentials. Her Reiki-infused massage techniques include Swedish, deep tissue, trigger-point therapy, and hot stone.

In characteristic Kristina style, she approaches her bodywork with a refreshing degree of meticulousness. To protect her clients from parabens, artificial preservatives, and synthetic chemicals, Kristina uses only nontoxic lotions and creams during her massages. She's especially fond of Young Living therapeutic-grade essential oils, and incorporates them into her sessions gratis upon request. While she kneads sinews, she draws on a range of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger-point therapy, and hot stone. Taking the path less traveled, her raindrop massage technique combines Vita-Flex techniques with essential oils to bring the body and mind into harmony, boost immunity, and reduce pain. When she isn't helping humans mend, she massages canines to help them cope with stress, aching joints, injuries, and nightmares about vengeful squirrels.
