Very cute. By accident we ran into one of the ladies that runs it. She was incredibly kind.

Great volunteer guide, and I was really impressed by the house we toured. I've toured a lot of historic homes, but this one had some items I had not seen before that were really interesting.

It was about a three hour tour. My only problem was it's texas and they start it at 1:30 on Sunday which makes it super hot when you get to the outside bits it was 101 out today.

Just relax, it's quite peaceful--drink water and wear light clothes. Don't bring bags in, as the house tour is a little cramped.

The home museum is very interesting, but may not hold young kids attention for long. The kids loved the animals and the farm has lots of great things for everyone to enjoy. A great way to learn about Plano's history and what life was like back then.

Had a great time there with my 14-yr-old, 8-yr-old and 6-yr-old. We have a hard time finding an activity that appeals to the entire family, so this was a rare occasion when everyone had an enjoyable time. Our docent was very knowledgeable and kind. I can't believe it has taken us so long to discover this interesting historic place right in our backyard.
