About Harbor Steak House

By the time Harbor Steak House’s fiftieth anniversary rolled around, it had gotten pretty good at celebrating. For more than a half-century, the community cornerstone has feted everything from special occasions to asteroid-free Tuesdays with carvings of its signature tender steaks and slow-roasted prime rib. The buttery lobster tail and seafood fettuccine loaded with sauteed shrimp, crab meat, and clams have also enlivened many a birthday or anniversary dinner.

The food and atmosphere have made Harbor Steak House the definition of a family-owned business since 1961, when Angelo Giordano and his two sons, Don and Louie, purchased Harbor Bar. Over the years, the father-son team buffed the neighborhood tavern into a welcoming steakhouse where patrons can play color-commentator to the football games on TV or share lotto-number strategies like “stop picking -√1.” Jeff Giordano and his family continue to helm Harbor Steak House and keep the experience a family-friendly delight, from the first stuffed mushroom to the last spoonful of molten chocolate cake.
