The place was very intimate and relaxing upon entering. The staff were very nice and accommodating, always ready to cater to what you want and need. Above all, the service I purchased was all worth it, especially since it's my very first couple's massage with my boyfriend. All in all, me and my boyfriend had a spectacular experience. The spa is located in a very quaint waterfront cottage...it is "antique-y"/shabby chic/rustic in its decor...so if none of those adjectives appeal to you, you may be put off by the initial appearance...i found it quaint and cozy. My hubby and I enjoyed a VERY light 2 course meal (my husband thought the whole meal was just an appetizer, lol) but tasty and a perfect "spa meal". We also enjoyed a shared dessert..also small portion. A complimentary sangria was enjoyable and also tea. The paraffin dip was basic. They can probably look into so many better updated options for this treatment, but it is still a nice treatment to get. The couples suite was comfortable. I loved the dry brush and body scrub. The massage was good, but a little light for my preference, although when I mentioned my pain issues, she really addressed them and I felt relief in the specific area. I did pay an upgrade for the deeper tissue massage...would have liked a little more pressure. The staff was friendly and attentive and that is always a plus. Overall, an enjoyable treatment, nice water front view, cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff/therapists! Worth the trip!
My wife and I had a great time. Don't think you will be "in and out", take your time, they will not rush you. Enjoy sitting inside or outside. Lay outside and take a nap. The lunch was great. Oh, the services will relax you if you have not relaxed sitting around. We will be back again.
