we went fairly soon after they opened for the night because we had tickets to an event at 8pm. the server was also the bartender so it took a while to get our order in. there was only one chef cooking and it was almost as if he did apps and meals for all 7 tables at one time since they were all delivered together. we waited 45 min from time we sat down to apps, then another 40min for the meal. food was fantastic but .....

Your chef is amazing. When we visited, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the server was quite accommodating, but her job was made more difficult by the fact that there were a number of items that you didn't have at the bar (a number of juices, tonic water, etc.). And she had to leave the restaurant and go down the street to run credit card transactions (luckily we had cash!), which was quite awkward since she was the only server that night. Hopefully now that you've been open for longer, this won't be an issue for future customers... and hopefully you still have the same chef :-)

A courteous greeting and welcome when entering the restaurant would be nice. We had reservations, and rather than greeting us, we were waved to a table we did not want, and had to ask for a different one. I ordered coffee before the meal, and it took a very long time to be given to me, and not once did the server ask if I wanted re-fills. Service was slow and inattentive, and desert was offered only as an afterthought. The outside of the building looks dirty and abandoned, and the makeshift way the new name has been applied to the old awning makes the place look very questionable. I hope things improve.
