Good food and reasonably priced. It did take almost 30 minutes to get my food but it was a busy day for them. I really like how you order and pay using an iPad.

Really tasty food. A fun addition to downtown Provo. Give yourself plenty of time to go--it's definitely not fast food, and can actually take surprisingly long. My favorites so far: sweet potato fries with "John" sauce, the Carne Asada fries, and a strawberry shake with vanilla pudding (though my kids loved the Oreo shake with banana pudding). Good stuff!

Carne asada is soooo good. The two fry sauces we tried were exceptional too -- the buffalo blue cheese and the "John." I think they should have a sauce-sampler on the menu. Fries plus five sauces.

I love the concept and I love the hours at hot potato. I don't like the prices (at least in relation to the quality of food and service.) I have now tried 4 menu items and none was very good. Three of the four were too spicy for me, and the sweet potato fries on two different occasions were burnt on the edges and rubbery in the middles. The ambiance is great and the decor is trendy and beautiful. The tables were dirty, even when there was no one else in the restaurant. Also I think you are missing the point about the self-ordering app... they use those in very busy snack bars and cafes in big cities to speed up wait times. Using it to make each new person spend double the time figuring out the interface while other people in the single line wait and while the poor employee just tries to talk you through it or comes around to help is simply inane. It's especially unnecessary when your prices are so high and the fare so simple. Lose the self-ordering system, you won't regret it. And good luck! It's a great idea for a college downtown and I hope you make it!
