The founders of Pacific Slot Car Raceways just want a place to race with their friends. In fact, not one of them takes a paycheck from the business; all profits go into the operation and improvement of the raceway's two road course tracks and a drag strip.
Tiny cars zip along these tracks on a daily basis, flying around hairpin turns, roaring up inclines, and tearing down straightaways. The pit areas are roomy enough for several racers to attend to their cars, while a comfy perch allows spectators to keep an eye on the action at all times. The raceways host regular programs for kids and adults, such as weekly stock car racing series that sees drivers maneuvering their cars with an electronic slot car controller.
