This is an amazing shelter that really cares about the animals. The staff was great and did everything necessary to make us and our new dog feel comfortable together before taking her home. I will recommend this shelter to anyone I know who's looking for a new pet.

SPCA of Wake County is a great animal shelter and a great place to adopt a new pet. I have adopted 2 dogs from them now and they take very good care of the animals there and work to ensure they all go to loving forever homes.

I really like the color matching program. We are so happy with our adopted dog Marcus (his name was Bondo at the shelter).

We got a kitten and she's amazing, however we were there 6 hours! Because no one would wait on us and they were all young teens working the desk flirting with the male clients. My husband and I have two young girls who were throwing fits because it was taking so long. The service was extremely disappointing.
