Great place to get your creative juices flowing.. I liked that they offered ornaments to paint for the Holidays! I wish they offered a bit more variety in paint color.

We had fun making Hanukkah and Christmas presents with our three year old. Probably best for a slightly older child. Great for school aged kids and grown ups.

My girls love A Time To Kiln and this was the motivation we needed to go back!

I was rather disappointed. It is a great concept, being able to choose from different kinds of projects, but there was absolutely no guidance at all. I chose a mosaic because I don't live near there (was on vacation visiting family) and that was one of the projects that I could bring home that day. When we got there, we were given a paper plate with glue and told to pick out what we wanted to do. No one even came by our table to see how we were doing. When we were finished we were given a bag of grout with typed instructions to finish our work at home. I enjoyed doing something creative with my friends, but we could have gone to Michaels to get art supplies and do this at home.

I thought I was purchasing a birthday party but it was anything but. They wouldn't allow me to bring cake and pizza into their establishment even thought they do allow this for "regular" birthday parties. They also didn't even know we were coming that night even though I made an appt. Not once did the girl working there even acknowledge my daughter as the birthday girl. She really seemed annoyed that we were even there that night. She barely checked on the girls to see if they needed additional colors etc etc. My experience with A Time to Kiln was not pleasurable. My daughter had her 9th birthday party at Color me Mine and was so pleased. I should have stuck with the experts.
