This was my second visit to Soul Food Express. I brought my husband with me this time. We picked out a meal together, 2 Chicken Breast with Mashed Potato/gravy and Mac 'n Cheese. We sat down and waited for the food to be done. After about :10 my husband asked me where is our food. I explained this in not like KFC where everything is cooked ahead and waiting under warming lights. This is really cooking! When the food showed up, my husband tore into it. He is a picky eater when it comes to eating meat off the bone...he ate everything but the bones this time. He loved the crispy coat to the chicken and the fact it was done all the way thru. Soul Food Express has made another convert.

everyone was polite it took about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. It was hot, it was good, it was season. I will return.

I did not know the food was somewhat cook to order. We did have to wait about 15 minutes or so for our food. One person with a call in for wings/wing dings still had to wait even though it was a call in.
