About Roscoe's BBQ Joint

The sauce aficionados at Roscoe's Joint smoke their meats over fruitwood fires to imbue each morsel with Oakland–style barbecue flavor. The casual dive's kitchen rustles up welcoming, homestyle fare, from slabs of ribs to pulled pork doused in a choice of three sauces—mild, medium, or Oh My Goodness. Hearty hunks of cornbread, scoops of coleslaw, and other homemade sides accompany meals at tables or out the drive-through window. To sate the barbecue cravings of late-night diners and nocturnal mole-men, Roscoe's Joint stays open until the wee hour of midnight.

The side-dishes are pretty bland and the cornbread is incredible dry. Try giving the sides more flavor and moistening the cornbread, then the meal would be perfect.

Mac and cheese wasn't very good and the pulled pork was a little dry. The brisket was great!

My food was given to me and my son cold, with exception to my corn bread, which was so incredibly dry. I think it's the first rib joint I've never recommended to another.

The pulled pork tasted like it was old ribs. The meat was dry and chewy, and the sauce tasted like it was from a jar you could buy at the grocery store. The sausage was not very good either.

Food was average. Ribs were barely warm. Beer selection was 2 bottles of Coors only!

The food was not worth the price. The cornbread and beef brisket was very dry. The pulled pork was okay but definitely not a place I would eat at again
