After seven years honing his skills in the general- and plastic-surgery divisions of Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Dr. Timothy Mountcastle returned to his native Virginia to devote himself full-time to body beautification as head of Mountcastle Plastic Surgery & Vein Institute, now a leading vein center of nearly 10 years. Dr. Mountcastle couples a keen eye for aesthetic detail with years of experience in varicose and spider vein treatment, including the use of lasers, radio-frequency ablation, minimally invasive microphlebectomy techniques, and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. Dr. Mountcastle also has extensive knowledge and practice in cosmetic and skin cancer surgery, as well as mole, lipoma, and cyst removals.
